Sign up for a Kore.ai account
The first step is Sign up for an account on the Kore.ai XO platform.
Once you are logged in, select ‘New App’ to start building your AI Chatbot
Start your new app project by selecting AI Automation. Once you’ve chosen, select “Custom Settings” and follow the instructions to create your AI chatbot.
Navigate to Marketplace and Add Calendly Integration
Select ‘integrations’ from the dropdown menu. From there, you can configure Calendly including instructions and authorization.
Authenticate and install
After adding the Calendly integration, follow the step-by-step instructions and continue with “Authenticate and install.” Under Custom Authorization, select “Create New” from the drop-down menu.
You will be prompted to select a new authorization mechanism. You can use the ‘oauth V2’ authorization type for this integration.
Enter the Identity Provider Name (Calendly), Client ID, Secret Key, Authorization URL, Token Request URL, and Token Refresh URL. Save your authorization with the blue button at the bottom of your screen.

Follow the installation template
Move through the guided steps to finalize your template integration. Make sure your meeting name matches the reservation name in Calendly.
Test your new AI chatbot integration
After the template installation, you will be taken to the dialog page. Click “Test” in the top right corner of your screen. You will be given the option to select a voice or chat conversation to test the flows.
For this example, we will focus on the chat conversation. Once selected and your AI chatbot appears, ask it to create a meeting. You can even just type “Create Meeting.”
Click “Book My Meeting” to add the date, time, and meeting details. Then, click “Schedule Event.” The AI will automatically create a Calendly meeting for you.
Confirm that your integration is working
While you’re logged in to Calendly, you can view calendar events created by Kore.ai. Feel free to execute tasks such as scheduling, editing and syncing, easily and efficiently from a unified platform.
