The principle SSD (upgraded from HDD a couple of years earlier) is OSX 10.15.7.
I changed the optical drive with 2TB SSD (https://www.ifixit.com/Information/Putting in+MacBook+Professional+13-Inch+Unibody+Mid+2012+Twin+Laborious+Drive/13787).
I’ve put in TUXEDO-OS-3-202410081541.iso(https://os.tuxedocomputers.com/TUXEDO-OS-3-202410081541.iso) as Luks encrypted on 2TB SSD.
My concept was that I might simply use alt/choice key at boot and I may select: fundamental ssd (OSX 10.15.7) or 2 TB SSD (Linux encrypted with Luks) However this doesn’t work. when i do it alt/choice At boot I can select: “MAIN” or “EFI Boot” and so they each find yourself on the primary SSD, OSX 10.15.7. This “EFI Boot” icon is from HDD, once I put in Linux, “EFI Boot” was the USB disk icon, so I suppose MacBookPro acknowledges the second 2TB SDD as bootable, perhaps the issue is with Lukes.
If doable, how can I obtain twin boot from each SSD drives, the place second is Linux encrypted with Luks?
If the one drawback is Linux encrypted with Luks, I can stay with simply Linux, however I have never examined it in follow.
